I’ve finally gotten my Etsy up and running and filled it with tons of prints and info on how to commission me. If an item you want is sold out just, check back in a few hours or message me and I’ll restock it. Also, if there’s a specific print you want that isn’t sold in the store, let me know! OK so now in honor of reaching over 500 fans and opening Etsy I want to celebrate with a free giveaway!

So here’s what I was sneak peaking last week, my entry into the Secret 7” on Talenthouse. In short, Secret 7” holds a few contests were artist design a 7” image for an artist’s song, this week was Florence and the Machine’s “Only If For A Night.” The top 45 most voted designs are then picked to be printed into original album covers and then auctioned off to help raise money for The Teenage Cancer Trust.

So if you can take a quick moment to vote for my entry, I would really appreciate it! VOTE!

Talent House is holding a contest called The Secret 7” where you create 7”x7” artwork for an artist’s song. 45 artist are then picked and their artwork is printed on albums and auctioned off to help raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. Took a break from art today to run out into the woods with Diana and try some of the Lime Crime glosses I won last month. Diana stuck with the purple Kaleidoscope and I switched between the blue Loop-de-Loop and the Golden Ticket. The colors were pretty thick and were opaque with one swipe. My lips didn’t get dried out but I was a little worried about smudging my face up. Didn’t encounter any problems though. I loved the longevity of it, the color stayed on during a meal, and they help you stand out in a crowd. The only con would be is my hair sometimes got stick in it when a gust of wind came along.

Happy New Year everyone! First finished piece of 2012 is Gandalf vs Saruman. I also just finished inking my idea for a HP and the Sorcerer’s Stone cover so hopefully I’ll finish coloring that by tomorrow.

This week’s Ten Paces theme was, “The Best Gift Ever.” My sketch was made by Anna Santaguida and the idea was a ridiculous coincidence since last year I gave my college roommate a fist full of rings for Christmas.
