More sketches from when I drew at the Museum of Natural History earlier this month! Done in SKB pen and I added some texture and color in photoshop.

Thank you Sarah Duffield-Harding for scanning my double page spread in ImagineFX’s July 2012 issue! I was made Artist of the Month in issue number 84, and I can’t wait to get a copy because it had an article on Rackham and is filled with fairytale work!
You can order an issue here
This week I spent most of my time working on a commission for Christine Tyler, based on a story she is writing. Had a lot of fun with all of this color and Christine had such great ideas, it was great trying something new. I also made two pieces for Ten Paces so look out for them early next week. If you want to commission me, check out Etsy!
Some sketches and instagram pictures from last week when I sketched at the Central Park Zoo and The Museum of Natural History.
Here are the process shots of my Ned Stark piece! Hope this helps some of you. I started out with a traditionally made ink and black watercolor drawing, scanned it into Photoshop at 400dpi, used a mask to make the lines colorable and then started. If you’re having trouble seeing the full size you can download it here.
In case you missed me at MoCCA Fest 2012, everything I was selling is now for sale as a bundle in my Etsy shop! http://www.etsy.com/listing/98811375/the-mocca-fest-bundle
Just got back from MoCCAfest! Had so much fun meeting everyone and a lot of artists I love on tumblr! I wish I had more time to look around but I was glued to my table, sorry if I couldn’t find anyone! Here’s what we were selling, what I bought, and some tumblr to follow!
