Another photo update. I went to NYC yesterday to take a look at the Audubon show they are having at the NY Historical Society. They’re showing all of his original bird drawings in three segments and I spent 4 hours looking at each image in Part 1 with a magnifying glass. Not kidding, they had magnifying glasses for people to use. I also took a bunch of notes on how he did wings, might post my sketches later. I also ran next door to the Museum of Natural History and got a drawing done before it closed. And I got to see the Nick Cave show in Grand Central and bought some great pasties for Easter.
Oh God is Moccafest really next weekend? Still waiting for two of my prints to come in and I need to buy some stuff for it. Excited though! I’m sharing a table with fellow FIT alumni, Chase Stone again this year and we’ll have a whole table of fantasy pieces. Bring your Chase Stone Magic The Gathering cards and he’ll sign them!
Yesterday I went into the city for a haircut and had some time to sketch at the Museum of Natural History. Also saw some cool stuff on the street and got cannolis.
Also, the other week I was in a one night show in NYC called Hot One Inch Action! I unfortunately couldn’t make it because I caught a cold, but I did get a bag of my buttons in the mail. Snagged some of these photos off of facebook from friends.
Visited Bloomingdales on 59th street and Park in NYC yesterday and got some nice shots of the Once Upon A Time window displays there.
More sketches! These are from Tuesday’s visit to the Museum of Natural History, finally got a decent drawing of the buffalo.
Photos from The Triangle Factory Fire show going on at the Fashion Institute of Technology Museum from now until July 7th. If you’re in NYC near 27th street, 7th ave, go check it out! Free admission.
Some pictures I took during Figment yesterday on Governor’s Island.
Just got back from MoCCAfest! Had so much fun meeting everyone and a lot of artists I love on tumblr! I wish I had more time to look around but I was glued to my table, sorry if I couldn’t find anyone! Here’s what we were selling, what I bought, and some tumblr to follow!

Sorry for the lack of updates this week, but was spending a few days in NYC. Here are some sketches I made while in the Museum of Natural History last Thursday! And I threw in one I did of Bradley James from Merlin. Ugh, his nose is perfection.
Yesterday I went down to Manhattan to see some of the Christmas window displays on 5th avenue and Bergoff and Goodman (Mens and Women’s) definitely kicked ass.
